Caden and Paxton had their last soccer game and it was cold that day. They both enjoyed this first season of soccer and hope that it will be offered again next year. (Pax is center in black & Caden on the right in gray)
Caden and Paxton got to be in the light parade. Paxton with her Baton group and Caden with the Kearny Stingrays (swim team). Pictures for that didn't turn out because it was dark.
We went to Spencer's annual Squad Christmas party and had a good time, but left early because Caden and Spencer started to feel crummy. Five minutes down the road, we had to stop as Spencer lost it on the side of the road. And the next day it went Me, Paxton, Caden and then Daisy all taking our turn passing around the stomach flu.
Caden lost his first tooth. For almost a year now he has been asking me when he would loose one. Then this one becomes loose and it hangs in there forever. The other tooth was half way in before it finally fell out.
Caden held his own and first yard sale, and we didn't even know he was doing it. He up early and had about 8 items up for sale sitting under the carport at 6:30 am or so waiting for people to come. We found out when he came back into our room all irritated, telling us that no one wanted to buy his stuff. Turns out he was out there for a whole 5 minutes and had no customers. I had to explain to him that he would need to make signs to let people know he was having one and so on. It was funny how he priced them all. I think if he sold all items he would have made a total of $1.43.
Caden's 1st grade class had there Christmas program, singing about 12 songs or so. He is front and center in the maroon shirt with stripes.
Caden took a spill on his bike and wasn't wearing his helmet. A few scrapes on the leg and hand to go along with these on his head.
Christmas day was wonderful. We enjoyed the morning and eachother as we shared gifts and talked with family on the phone. A few pics of the kids and a look at our new famliy dog, Max. He's a black lab and the kids love him. He is a sweet puppy so far.
