Daisy is a little firecracker! She is always on the go and doing everything she sees brother and sister do. She is often heard walking around chanting "mama, dada, mama, dada, gamma, gampa" over and over. She also likes to yell MAMA while walking around, weather she wants me or not. She is doing a lot of side glances and she looks very cute while doing them. I haven't captured it with the camera yet, but I'm trying. She likes to hold the baby, help burp the baby and loves to steal his binks. Spencer took her to the pool one day with the kids and she has since spent a lot of time on the back porch playing in her little pool.
Paxton is surviving summer. The first part of June Spencer taught her to ride a bike. She started out very timid in her riding, but now has little fear and wants to ride often. She got to stay with G-ma/G-pa Hansen for a few days with a couple of her cousins. While there she was cruising down the hill off their driveway (this is a nice size hill) and had her first good wreck. A few good scrapes all bandaged up and she hasn't feared riding again. That was a surprise to us, but we were so glad to see her jumping right back on. Here is a little clip of her right after learning.
Caden joined swim team this summer. It really has been more of swim lessons for him as he is just really learning how to swim on his own. But don't make the mistake of saying he is in swim lessons, because you will be quickly corrected. "It's swim TEAM mom." He loves being a part of it all. They have had a few fund raisers for the team and he is very involved. First was a car wash and he worked hard and had a great time with all the kids for hours washing cars. Next came the bake sale were he did chocolate cupcakes. He asks each day at practice when and what the next fund raiser will be. He's a good little worker and loves being involved.
Spencer did the Payson Triathlon again this year and did great. He took 2nd in his age group and finished 12th overall out of 118 competitors. I only captured him after the bike as he was just starting the run. It is so much more work getting 4 kids out the door to things. Since that race he has started working me back into some sort of a training schedule. He is taking on the kids more so that I have time to ride.
So with that, I am one of the many Hansens who have signed up for the Tour de Tucson this year. Spencers dad is hoping there are enough of us that we might be in the running for the family award this year. I think there is 10 of us signed up right now. So, I'm back on the bike now and we've done a few good rides to get me right back in the swing of things. It's been fun. I also cut off about 9 inches of my hair. Don't have a picture now, but soon! Well, I think all that brings us up to speed here in blog land.

Daisy is such a little Abbey. I just love that girl.
Great, I thought that for the first time I would come out to visit and have a hairstyle that isn't close to yours, sounds like it just might happen again!
ha ha , oh well. Glad to hear the family is doing well, seems like you are handling 4 alright. Can't wait to see you all again.

Love the pic of Daisy! And the quotes from your kids!
Man Spencer actually looks like a triathlete more than a football player now. Although he's always had the pencil neck!!
